Chambered in .30-06. Serial number puts it to early 1920s. It has been rebuilt at some point by the CMP or an arsenal it would appear. No visible cartouches on stock. Replacement High Standard (H S) barrel dated 11-44. Sling is likely an aftermarket reproduction. I have not fired this rifle as it has been in storage since I purchased it. The bore looks good but a tad dusty from storage. A cleaning should shine it right up. Action is smooth and works flawlessly. Looking for cash or possible trade for Colt Revolvers, or Smith & Wesson Model 27 or 29. Not interested in Smiths classic series with the keylocks. I always ask the buyer to sign a bill of sale upon purchase or trade. Thanks for looking.
