Hotel Housekeeper

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards.

Perform custodial duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces.

Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.

Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas to ensure availability for guests.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring that linens are cleaned and returned in a timely manner.

Follow established housekeeping procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred.

Strong knowledge of housekeeping management practices and industrial cleaning techniques.

Proficiency in floor care methods including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.

Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
