We recently got a spunky, adorable baby bunny that weve had about 4 weeks (shes about 8 weeks old). We had a little bunny in the past and it was fine but we just discovered that the other person living here is severely immune compromised and has several immune conditions. Although probably fine, it is a concern to me. In addition, one of our dogs appears to have developed an allergy to rabbits. The bunny is friendly, energetic, and I fear that she needs more socialization than shes getting. She has an entire room for herself and lots of toy. I try to give her enough attention but because of these recent issues, shes not able to get the social exposure, and probably as much physical activity as she needs. Shes about halfway potty trained, but once spayed she will probably easily take to it if she hasnt yet (I have some tricks I can share). I hate to give her up because she really is adorable and sweet (like most bunnies, shes a bit reluctant about being picked up but shes getting better). She is dog friendly and if it werent for one of the dogs allergy and my worry about the other housemate, she would be a great companion to dogs, humans, and bunnies alike (as long as the introduction is gentle of course). She is white with some spots, half mini lop and half holland lop - the two smallest types of lop rabbits, meaning she will always be small (currently 2.3 pounds). She had been taken to Pinehurst Vet and they said theres really only one vaccine given to rabbits for a rabbit-specific disease that (luckily) has not seem to spread to this area as of yet and they dont carry at the moment. As stated, it is not transmitted to other animals or humans. Any future potential owner feel free to double-check with vet. We have a very large rabbit cage, LOTS of toys (including little castle things and tube exploration toy), lots of hay, travel case, as well as quite a bit of bunny safe fruit/veggie based treats. We also have metal cage that can be taken as well. I do not ask for any compensation other than the knowledge that she will go to a good home that will do their best to care for her and give her attention (exercise isnt hard if allowed to roam at times, just secure cords out of the way if unsupervised; although she does not seem too interested in them, its always good to be safe). Even if not allowed to free-roam, she just needs some space, attention, and mental stimulation. I would just like her to be in a good environment with lots of love
