Come join us Friday, October 25, from 10 AM-6 PM, and Saturday, October 26, from 10 AM-5 PM at the Bismarck Eagles Aerie 2237, 313 N 26th St in Bismarck for the 50th Annual Central Dakota Gem and Mineral Society Gem and Mineral Show. Whether you are young or old, a rockhound, interested in gems, minerals, rocks, fossils, or just curious, we have something for everyone. There will be demonstrations and activities throughout the day and a special guest speaker, Dr. Allan Ashworth, on Friday at 10:30. Dr. Ashworth, Professor Emeritus from NDSU, has traveled to Antarctica six times to do field research. He will talk on climate change in North Dakota from the Ice Ages to the present. Vendors will be present with many different rocks, minerals, and handmade gifts to purchase.
