Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conduct site inspections and assessments of proposed project area
Analyze parcel and plat maps, site and house plans, and construction documents
Design, prepare, and present residential landscape projects alongside the division manager
Assist installation crews with plant layout, lighting installation, material delivery, etc.
Schedule prospective client meetings and manage customer walk-throughs
Educate customers on company products and services and build customer relationships
Identify and communicate specific client preferences or requests for service and help provide solutions to any customers complaints or concerns with division managers guidance
Prepare written reports, site plans, renderings, sections, and perspective drawings
Organize project estimates and documentation and keep accurate record of proposals and projects in progress
Perform data entry and record management
Attend landscape seminars and conferences with company
Stay current on design trends and products in the industry
Other duties as assigned by division manager
Qualifications and Key Selection Criteria:
Desired bachelors degree in landscape architecture/related field, currently enrolled in landscape architecture/related field program, or 3 years minimum of hands-on field or nursery experience. We are also always willing to train the right candidate.
Knowledgeable of computer applications
Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD or similar based design software, Sketchup, ArcGIS, Google Earth
Knowledgeable in zone 3 & 4 plant material is a plus, but not required
Extremely detail-oriented and excellent time management
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Working knowledge in Spanish is a plus, but not required
Proven leadership skills and strong customer service
Self-starter, reliable, and results oriented
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25lbs to load various landscaping materials and other products
Perform in various work settings i.e. outdoors at job sites, unlevel terrain, indoors at your desk space
