10 year old Bay Quarter Horse Gelding.

The good: Good with cattle, has stretched out yearling cattle to brand, good with gates, he comes to the gate ready to work, shoes, loads, I took him to a ranch roping clinic last summer and he did good, grand daughter took him to 4H riding last summer and he did OK, until he buffalowed her. I have taken him elk hunting 3 years, he has packed elk out of deadfall timber in the dark; no problem. The Bad: He bucked me off out of the blue elk hunting this year. Twice. I wasn't smart enough to stay off the first time. I don't know what caused it, but I am 65 and the ground is way harder than I remember. A good cowboy should be able to make a good ranch gelding out of him. He has a wire cut on a front that is OK if you keep a shoe on it. See pics. Fire Water Flit x "The Ole Man" mare
